Linda Plank

Linda Plank is the Dean and Clinical Associate Professor at the Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON) at Baylor University. She has held multiple leadership roles, including Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and served as Interim Dean from July 2020 to April 2021 while maintaining her faculty position.

Her research and teaching interests span nursing leadership, health care finance, nursing informatics, and management. She has taught undergraduate, accelerated BSN, and graduate programs, covering courses such as Management and Leadership, Nursing Informatics, and Budgeting and Health Care Finance for Nursing Leadership.

Plank’s career includes over three decades as a registered nurse and nursing administrator at Baylor University Medical Center before transitioning to academia in 2008. She has held progressively senior administrative roles at LHSON since 2012.
