Linda Maria Ratschiller Nasim is a Lecturer at the Chair of Medical Humanities, Faculty of Medicine, University of Fribourg. She specializes in global history, colonialism, Christian missions, and the history of science and medicine since 1800. Her research explores intersections of religion, health, and colonial knowledge production.
- Doctorate summa cum laude (2020), MPhil (2013), and MA (2011) in Contemporary History
- Jesus College scholarship recipient (2012–2013)
Her publications include monographs on Medical Missionaries and Colonial Knowledge (2023) and co-edited volumes on mission history and colonial bodies. She co-founded the postcolonial digital platform colonial-local.ch and coordinates the doctoral program Regimes of Inequality – Past and Present.
