معرفی
Linda Lee is a Distinguished Professor of Agronomy and Professor of Sustainability Engineering and Environmental Engineering at Purdue University. She also serves as the Program Head for the Ecological Science and Engineering Interdisciplinary Graduate Program and Assistant Dean of Graduate Education, Research, and Faculty Development in the College of Agriculture. Her work focuses on environmental science, engineering, and toxicology, with particular emphasis on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
Research interests include PFAS fate and transport in environmental systems, ecotoxicological impacts on amphibians and aquatic organisms, and sustainable waste management practices. She explores innovative remediation technologies such as electrochemical oxidation, sorbent materials, and biosolids amendment strategies to mitigate PFAS contamination in soil, water, and agricultural systems.
Her recent publications emphasize PFAS behavior in biosolids, water treatment residuals, and agricultural ecosystems, highlighting their environmental persistence and health risks. She has contributed to state-level PFAS assessments and policy recommendations. While no specific awards are listed, her leadership roles reflect institutional recognition of her contributions to academia and interdisciplinary research.
Her administrative roles in graduate education and faculty development underscore her commitment to academic leadership and program development.
