Linda G. Mills is the 17th President of New York University and holds the Lisa Ellen Goldberg Professorship in Social Work, Public Policy, and Law. She founded the NYU Center on Violence and Recovery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare. Her scholarly work, influenced by her family’s Holocaust history, focuses on justice, resiliency, and recovery in contexts of violence.
