Lina Siegl is a Lecturer in Organisational Psychology at Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS), University of Manchester, and serves as academic lead for the Leadership and Wellbeing theme at the Thomas Ashton Institute. She holds a PhD (2023), MSc (2018), and BSc (2017) in psychology-related fields, all from UK institutions. Her research focuses on technostress, workplace wellbeing, and interventions addressing work-home conflict and burnout. She has led projects for the UK nuclear industry's safety culture (NISCI) and the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR).
Expertise includes email-related stress interventions, regulatory culture assessment, and promoting evidence-based health policies through the National Forum for Health and Wellbeing at Work (since 2018). Awards include the Best Doctoral Paper (2023). She actively contributes to conferences, publishing peer-reviewed articles and presenting on topics like digital wellbeing and sleep quality impacts.
Her work aligns with UN SDG goals related to decent work and economic growth, emphasizing 'good health is good for business'. She collaborates with C-suite executives and policymakers to translate research into actionable guidelines for workplace wellbeing.
