معرفی
Lina Hadid is a CNRS Researcher at the Laboratoire de Physique des Plasmas (LPP) affiliated with École Polytechnique. She holds a PhD in Astrophysics from Université Paris-Saclay (2016) and specializes in space plasma physics, focusing on planetary magnetospheres and solar wind dynamics. Her research involves space mission instrumentation and data analysis techniques, with leadership roles in BepiColombo’s MSA and M-MATISSE missions. She has coordinated international projects like the ESA/JUICE mission and contributed to the Cassini Radio and Plasma Wave Science Team, earning awards such as the 2023 ESA Award and Vincenzo Ferraro Prize (2019).
Her teaching includes courses on space plasmas at Paris Observatory and mentorship in plasma physics schools. Professional roles include chairing INSU’s BepiColombo-Magnéto SNO and managing LPP’s communication efforts. Research highlights include discoveries on Mercury’s magnetosphere dynamics using BepiColombo data, Venus magnetosheath composition, and solar wind turbulence evolution in the inner heliosphere.
Awards and grants include leadership of the ISEE International Workshop (2023) and ECOS-SUD bilateral cooperation (2022–2025). She actively reviews for NASA panels and journals like Planetary and Space Science. Her work bridges fundamental plasma physics with applied mission design, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration.
