Patrick Canu is a Research Director (DR2 CNRS) at the Plasma Physics Laboratory (LPP), affiliated with École Polytechnique and Sorbonne University. He specializes in plasma physics, focusing on terrestrial and planetary magnetospheres, solar wind dynamics, and wave-particle interactions. His research includes studies on electrostatic and electromagnetic waves near electron plasma frequencies, radio emissions, and diagnostic techniques for plasma environments.
