Lina Benabdallah

Lina Benabdallah is an Associate Professor in the Department of Politics & International Affairs at Wake Forest University, specializing in China-Africa relations and postcolonial international relations. Her research examines China's foreign policy in Africa, development-security approaches, and global governance transformations.

She authored Shaping the Future of Power: Knowledge Production and Network-Building in China-Africa Relations (2020) and is working on a new book analyzing China's Silk Road narratives. Her work explores private sector diplomacy, critical mineral extraction, and Africa's role in US-China rivalry.
