Limor Golan is a Professor of Economics and Laurence H. Meyer Professor at Washington University in St. Louis, affiliated with the Department of Economics within Arts & Sciences. She also serves as Associate Director of the Center for Dynamic Economics (CEDEC) and holds research roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the Weidenbaum Center, and the Milton Friedman Institute. Her academic journey includes a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA from Tel-Aviv University.
Dr. Golan’s research focuses on labor economics, including wage determination, inequality, and intergenerational wealth persistence. She teaches courses in Applied Econometrics and Labor Economics at both undergraduate and doctoral levels. Her work has been published in top journals like Econometrica and Journal of Labor Economics, and cited in media such as the New York Times.
