Limor Golan is Professor of Economics at Washington University, holding the inaugural Laurence H. Meyer Professorship. She earned her PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and researches labor economics with focus on wage determination, inequality, and intergenerational mobility.
Her work analyzes racial/gender disparities in labor markets, executive career trajectories, and human capital transmission across generations. Current projects examine household decision-making impacts on wealth inequality and discrimination mechanisms.
She serves as Co-Editor of Quantitative Economics and holds affiliations with the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and the Human Capital and Economic Opportunity network. Her research is published in leading journals including Econometrica and Journal of Labor Economics.
