Dr. Lily Nguyen is a Senior Lecturer in Finance and Program Convenor for the Commerce Programs at UQ Business School, The University of Queensland. She holds editorial positions as Associate Editor at International Review of Financial Analysis and previously served as Guest Editor for Pacific-Basin Finance Journal.
Her research expertise spans empirical corporate finance and climate finance, with specific focus on:
- Corporate governance mechanisms and innovation outcomes
- Market reactions to political and regulatory changes
- ESG disclosure impacts on financial markets
- Information asymmetry and price discovery processes
- Cross-border investment effects on firm innovation
Dr. Nguyen has secured competitive research funding including an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery grant and multiple AFAANZ research grants.
