Dr. Lilibeth Al-Kofahy is a Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Nursing, College of Health Sciences at Sam Houston State University, where she has taught since 2013. She coordinates the obstetric curriculum and delivers both didactic and clinical courses in maternal-child nursing and women’s health.

Research Interests: Her scholarship centers on qualitative nursing research, particularly exploring the lived experiences of PTSD among motor-vehicle accident survivors and the role of clinical reflection in nursing education. She is currently co-authoring work on cultivating cultural competence through community engagement and reflective practice.
