Liina Lumiste is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Tartu's School of Law (Faculty of Social Sciences) and serves as a Legal Adviser at the Estonian Information System Authority. She has held roles at NATO's Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCD COE), the International Criminal Court, and Estonia's Ministry of Education and Research. Her research focuses on international law, cyber law, and state approaches to cyber operations. Lumiste holds a Master's degree (2018) and is pursuing a PhD on Russian/Chinese cyber law frameworks under Professors Lauri Mälksoo and René Värk.
