Lihuan Sun

Lihuan Sun is a Post-doctoral researcher at the University of Geneva working in Christoph Renner's group, specializing in spin-orbit interactions within graphene and transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) heterostructures using Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM) and Spectroscopy (STS).

Her research spans Condensed Matter Physics, Two-Dimensional Materials, and Scanning Probe Microscopy, with emphasis on quantum phenomena in engineered heterostructures. The Subside tremplin (Springboard Grant) awarded in 2020 supports her academic career development by providing dedicated research time for scientific publication and thesis completion.
