معرفی
Prof. Dr. Anika Schlenhoff leads the Atomic-scale Microscopy & Spectroscopy Group at the Physikalisches Institut, University of Münster, Germany. Her research focuses on correlating structural, electronic, magnetic, and opto-electronic properties of low-dimensional (magnetic) solid-state systems using advanced scanning probe methods.
Research Interests
The group specializes in studying:
- Graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides
- Magnetic hetero- and hybrid-structures
- Spin-polarized scanning tunneling microscopy (STM/STS)
- Image-potential states as quantum probes
- Atomic-scale manipulation of spin textures
- Surface physics at ultra-high vacuum (UHV) conditions
Publications & Collaborations
Key publications cover topics like spin textures in 2D hybrids, vacuum resonance states for magnetic imaging, and thermoelectric effects in atomic-scale systems. Collaborations span institutions in Switzerland, Poland, the US, Spain, and Austria.
Teaching Activities
She teaches Condensed Matter Physics and Scanning Probe Methods at the University of Münster, supervising both theoretical lectures and experimental courses.
