Dr. Liette Vasseur is a Full Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Brock University, holding the UNESCO Chair in Community Sustainability: From Local to Global. She is affiliated with the Brock Environmental Sustainability Research Centre and the Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on ecosystem management, climate change adaptation, sustainable agriculture, and community resilience, with projects spanning Canada, China, Ecuador, and Burkina Faso. Dr. Vasseur’s work emphasizes participatory approaches and transdisciplinary collaboration, addressing both ecological and social dimensions of sustainability.
