Liang Zhao is a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Strathclyde Business School, where he teaches courses such as Innovation Lab (Z1984) and Entrepreneurial Finance (Z1982). He holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Amsterdam and a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching Higher Education.
His research focuses on crowdfunding, entrepreneurial finance, innovation strategy, and digital transformation in emerging markets. Recent work examines self-pledge mechanisms in crowdfunding success, digital policy impacts on firm innovation, and greenwashing mitigation through supply chain leadership.
