Liakouras Petros is a Professor of International Law at the Department of International and European Studies, School of Economics, Business and International Studies, University of Piraeus (since 2001). He serves as Director of the Post-Graduate Program on 'International and European Studies' (2020–present) and Director of the Research Center on 'Negotiation and Mediation' (2015–present). Previously, he held roles as Deputy Head of his department (2015–2020) and legal officer at the Council of Europe's European Commission of Human Rights.
