Evripidis Stylianidis is an Associate Professor of Constitutional Law with a focus on Minority Rights Protection at the Department of Law, European University Cyprus. He concurrently serves as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament (since 2000) and has held multiple ministerial roles, including Minister of National Education and Religious Affairs (2007–2009), Minister of the Interior (2012–2013), and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs (2004–2007). He chairs key parliamentary committees like the Constitutional Reform Committee and serves on the Council of Europe's legal and human rights committees.
Education:
- PhD in Constitutional Law (1995) from the University of Hamburg, Thesis: 'Fundamental Rights and the reservation of law in the Greek Constitution and in the Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany'
- LLB from Democritus University of Thrace (1989)
