LiKang Chin is the Graduate Program Director and Assistant Teaching Professor in the School of Engineering at Widener University. He holds a PhD, MS, and BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively. His research focuses on mechanobiology, tissue engineering, and the mechanical behavior of diseased soft tissues. Previously, he served as Technical Director of a research core at the University of Pennsylvania’s Physical Sciences Oncology Center. He emphasizes hands-on learning and interdisciplinary approaches in his teaching. His work has been featured in prestigious journals like Nature and Current Opinion in Chemical Engineering.

He actively contributes to biomedical engineering education through Widener’s dual MBA/MSE program, collaboratively designed with the School of Business Administration.
