Lewis Waller

Dr. Lewis Waller serves as Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Construction Management Department at Morgan State University, with 39 years of combined academic and industry experience. Previously an Assistant Professor at North Carolina A&T State University, his expertise spans construction estimating, project management, and curriculum development for accreditation bodies like ACCE and SACS.

His educational background includes a B.S. and M.S. from North Carolina A&T State University and a Ph.D. from Capella University.

Dr. Waller's research centers on transformative approaches in construction education and sustainability. Key interests include Green Building impacts, Active Learning methodologies, Service-Learning integration, Sustainable Workforce Development, and enhancing Employability Skills for industry readiness.

His recent publications (2018-2019) focus on construction education outcomes, risk management in residential projects, social media's industry role, and knowledge management for global competitiveness. These works emphasize practical applications in construction pedagogy and industry innovation.
