Letitia Roman is a Lecturer at the Hertie School, where she teaches Negotiation & Analysis for Global Security: Nuclear Policy Simulation (GRAD). As an alumna with a Master of International Affairs (MIA '21), she specializes in international security, focusing on the climate-conflict nexus, EU foreign and security policy, nuclear safety, and interstate negotiations.
Her professional work includes designing policy simulations at the IPLI Foundation on global challenges like misinformation dynamics, Arctic cooperation, and trade disputes. She founded PolSim, an initiative that creates gamified policy and negotiation simulations to transform abstract security concepts into interactive learning experiences. Her approach combines academic rigor with experiential learning applications.
