Leszek Pływaczyk

Leszek Pływaczyk is a full professor and director at the Institute of Environmental Management and Protection within the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Geodesy at Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. He specializes in hydrological foundations of land improvement, environmental management, small water retention, and water improvement.

Research Interests: Focus on water-land interactions, environmental protection, and sustainable land management. His work addresses hydrological impacts on agricultural systems and ecological engineering solutions.

Academic Leadership: Former dean of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Geodesy (Agricultural University of Wrocław), former vice-rector of the same university, and active member in Polish Academy of Sciences committees for land reclamation and agricultural environmental engineering.
