Jerzy Sobota

Jerzy Sobota is a Polish engineer and full professor at the Institute of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Geodesy, Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, where he serves as dean of the faculty. He previously held the position of acting director of the Institute of Civil Engineering and remains an active member of the Environmental Engineering Committee at the 4th Faculty of Technical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

His academic credentials include a doctoral degree followed by a postdoctoral habilitation, culminating in his appointment as professor of technical sciences on October 31, 2000. His research portfolio centers on critical hydraulic engineering challenges, with particular expertise in water infrastructure systems and fluid dynamics applications.
