Lester Johnson

Professor Lester Johnson is a Professor of Marketing at Swinburne University of Technology's School of Business, Law and Entrepreneurship. He has held academic positions at multiple institutions since 1975, including Melbourne Business School and the University of Sydney. His research focuses on marketing strategy, sustainable consumption, environmental values, consumer behavior, and brand engagement. He is a Fellow of both the Australia New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC) and the Australian Market and Social Research Society, and has served as editor of the Australasian Marketing Journal.

Johnson's research interests span sustainable development goals (SDGs 11 and 12), exploring topics like recycling behaviors, HIV/AIDS prevention decision-making, and the impact of tourism on health.
