Leslie deRosset

Leslie deRosset is an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Research Investigator in the Department of Maternal and Child Health at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With over 22 years in public health, she focuses on maternal and child health equity, program development, and implementation science. She leads national programs like the National MCH Workforce Development Center and the Maternal Health Learning & Innovation Center.

Research Interests: Addressing systemic inequities in maternal and child health through program evaluation, telehealth innovation, and community-based interventions. Expertise includes collaboration strategies for health programs and workforce development.

Service & Grants: Serves on the Board of Me Fine and reviews Title V grants. Her work includes $2.5M+ in grants for maternal health programs and collaboration tools like the Wilder Inventory.

Labs/Teams: Active in the Maternal and Child Health Department’s core programs, including the National Preconception Health Program and the Strengthening the Evidence for MCH Programs initiative.
