Leslie E. Seawright

Dr. Leslie E. Seawright is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Missouri State University. She holds a PhD (2012), MA (2008) from the University of Arkansas, and a BA (1999) from the University of Oklahoma. Her research focuses on intercultural technical writing, transnational higher education, professional workplace writing, police writing, and technical writing pedagogy. She has published extensively on topics such as cultural competence in global contexts and the role of design in effective documentation.
