Leslie C. Dunn is a Professor of English at Vassar College, specializing in English Renaissance literature, Shakespeare, and gender studies. She holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge and has taught at Vassar since 1985.
Her research explores intersections of poetry, music, and gender in early modern England. She co-edited Embodied Voices: Representing Female Vocality in Western Culture and is working on performance studies related to Shakespeare's Globe.
