Lesley Koven serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba, where she is incoming program director for the Clinical Health Psychology Residency Program. She concurrently acts as medical lead for geropsychology services with Shared Health Clinical Health Psychology and holds cross appointments as Adjunct Member in the Department of Psychology (Faculty of Arts) and Research affiliate at the Center on Aging.

Dr. Koven's research centers on geropsychology with critical focus on caregiving dynamics in aging populations, dismantling barriers to mental health services for older adults, and developing accessible psychological interventions for loneliness and mental health conditions. Her work specifically examines family experiences surrounding Mild Cognitive Impairment through clinical evaluation and community-based implementation.

She provides direct clinical services at St. Boniface General Hospital while supervising Clinical Health Psychology residents, practicum students, and graduate students in Psychology.
