Lerone Wilder is an Assistant Professor of Religion at Newberry College. He holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Union Institute & University, an M.Div. from the Interdenominational Theological Center, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Carolina. His research focuses on the intersection of seminary education, social activism, and African American Baptist clergy. Wilder is an ordained minister serving as Stated Supply Pastor at Mattoon Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) in Greenville, SC.
