Leonidas Economou is a Professor at the Department of Social Anthropology, Panteion University, School of Social Sciences. His research focuses on urban anthropology, cultural geography, and the anthropology of music and popular culture, with a particular emphasis on Greece and modern Western societies. He has contributed significantly to understanding the social and cultural dynamics of urban spaces, music’s role in identity formation, and historical transformations in Athenian suburbs.
