Leonidas Pittos is an Associate Professor of Teaching in Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies and Associate Chair at Wayne State University's Department of Classical and Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures. He specializes in Late Byzantine religious and intellectual history, with current projects including translations of St. Gregory Palamas' works and studies on Post-Byzantine Greek historiography.
