Leonhard Lades is a Professor of Behavioural and Environmental Economics at the Stirling Management School, University of Stirling, and Director of the Stirling Behavioural Science Centre. He previously held roles at University College Dublin (UCD) as head of the Behavioural Science & Policy Group and was an EPA Senior Research Fellow. His research focuses on the ethical application of behavioural insights, particularly in environmental policy, and the removal of 'sludge' (administrative barriers) hindering climate goals. He co-developed the nudge FORGOOD ethics framework to ensure responsible use of behavioural interventions.
