Leo Y. Yang is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance at Hong Kong Baptist University. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from UC San Diego (2023), an MPhil in Social Science from HKUST (2016), and an MA in Finance from Xiamen University (2014). His research focuses on Computational Social Science, Labor Economics, and Education Economics with a regional emphasis on China. He is affiliated with the Stanford Center on China’s Economy and Institutions (SCCEI) and the UC Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC).
