Dr. Lenka Jiroušková serves as a research assistant for the "Arabic and Latin Corpus" project and holds the academic title of Privatdozentin at the University of Würzburg's Institute of Philosophy, part of the Faculty of Human Sciences. Affiliated with Chair III for Philosophy, she operates from the Residenz building (South Wing) in Würzburg, contributing to institutional research and academic activities.
Her research spans Medieval Philosophy, Arabic Philosophy, Latin Philosophy, Phenomenology, Ancient Philosophy, Social Philosophy, and Ethics. Key projects include DFG-funded work on Cicero's 'Tusculanae disputationes' and Roman philosophy, non-object-directed intentionality (focusing on tendency and affect), and a completed Fritz Thyssen Foundation project analyzing 'Intentional Formation and Habituation – Transitions between Behavior and Action' through phenomenological methods.
Dr. Jiroušková actively participates in the Institute's research focus groups (FS) on Phenomenology, Greek-Arabic-Latin Tradition, and Social Philosophy and Ethics. Her contributions to the Arabic and Latin Corpus provide critical digital resources for medieval philosophical studies, supported by grants from the German Research Foundation (DFG) and Fritz Thyssen Foundation.
