Lena Maria Schaffer is Professor of Political Science and International & Transnational Relations at the University of Luzern, with a 2023 guest professorship at Konstanz University's Excellence Cluster "The Politics of Inequality". Her career spans postdoctoral research at Konstanz (2014-2016) and ETH Zürich (2011-2014), followed by assistant professorship at Luzern (2016-2022) before attaining full professorship in 2022.
