Leith Davis is a Professor in the Department of English at Simon Fraser University and Director of the Research Centre for Scottish Studies. She specializes in eighteenth-century literature, media history, cultural memory, and Scottish/Irish cultural studies. Co-founder of the MA in Print Culture program, her research examines intersections between media, memory, and national identity. Key works include Acts of Union (1998) and Mediating Cultural Memory (2022). She leads Digital Humanities projects on early circus and Robert Forbes' manuscripts.
Education: BA (Saskatchewan), MA & PhD (Berkeley). Awards include the Amundsen Teaching Fellowship (2021) and Cormack Teaching Award (2018). Active in traditional music with the Sybaritic String Band.
