Leigh H. Edwards

Leigh H. Edwards is a Professor of English at Florida State University (FSU), part of the College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. from Duke University. Her research focuses on 20th- and 21st-century U.S. literature, media studies (including television, film, and new media), and digital humanities, with particular emphasis on multi-platform storytelling and authenticity discourses in popular culture.

Edwards has authored influential books such as Dolly Parton (IU Press, 2018, Foreword Book of the Year Gold Medal) and The Triumph of Reality TV (Praeger, 2013).
