Leigh Ann Vaughn is a Professor of Psychology at Ithaca College, where she has served since 2001. Her work focuses on motivational states' impact on social judgment, particularly promotion and prevention focus. She leads the Social and Personality Research Team (Research Team 11), fostering undergraduate research in social psychology and replicability studies. Vaughn holds a PhD from the University of Michigan and postdoctoral experience at Ohio State University.
Education: PhD (Social Psychology, University of Michigan), M.A. (Social Psychology, University of Michigan), B.A. (Psychology, Smith College). She has advised over 60 students presenting at conferences like the Eastern Psychological Association.
