Lehiany Benjamin is an associated researcher at the Institut Interdisciplinaire de l’Innovation (i3-CNRS) and a lecturer in the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management at École Polytechnique. He teaches strategic management, innovation management, eco-innovation, and the circular economy in both initial and continuing education programs, with a focus on network industries like energy and mobility. His research explores cooperative strategies between organizations and individuals, eco-innovation's environmental impact, and integrated strategies addressing non-market environmental and social challenges.
He holds a master’s degree from Toulouse School of Economics and a PhD in Management Sciences from École Polytechnique. He co-founded Manadvise, an open-innovation agency providing research, education, and consulting services in strategic innovation management. His teaching spans executive education programs in sustainable strategy, renewable energy entrepreneurship, and strategic energy management.
Key research interests include inter-organizational cooperation mechanisms, eco-innovation business models, and strategic responses to environmental regulations. His work uses methods like fsQCA and multidimensional sequence analysis to study alliance stability and regulatory cycles in network industries.
Lehiany actively contributes to academic journals such as Management International and La Revue Française de Gestion, focusing on strategic management and innovation topics.
