Lee Tate, Ed.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Early Childhood Education at National Louis University's National College of Education. He serves as Program Coordinator for the Teach For America partnership and teaches graduate-level courses such as Children’s Literature for Educators, Teacher Education Practicum, and Foundations of Emergent Literacy. His career spans over three decades in early childhood education, including roles as a classroom teacher, Disabilities Coordinator, Curriculum Specialist, and Educational Consultant.
