Mr Lee Knifton is Co-Director of the Strathclyde Centre for Health Policy and a Senior Lecturer in Management Science at the University of Strathclyde (part-time role). His primary role is Director of The Mental Health Foundation for Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. He co-founded the Centre for Health Policy in 2014 and leads collaborative initiatives with institutions like New York University. His research focuses on public mental health, stigma reduction, and policy impact, supported by grants from NHS, Scottish Government, and EU funding. He has co-authored influential publications including Public Mental Health: Global Perspectives (2014) and serves as Joint Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Public Mental Health.
