Lee Jia Jia is an Assistant Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, Monash University (joined July 2023). Previously, she served as a clinical lecturer at SEGi University’s Faculty of Pharmacy. Her roles include coordinating pharmacy student placements in public and private healthcare settings and supervising national health campaigns. She is a registered pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board Malaysia and a member of the Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS).
Education:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons), International Medical University (IMU)
- Master in Clinical Pharmacy, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia)
Research Focus: Clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice, particularly telepharmacy and digital health. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to healthcare innovation and accessibility. Current projects include a 2025 Indo-Pacific initiative on culturally appropriate medication management for older adults.
Recent Contributions: Active in organizing workshops (e.g., MUSA OSCE Workshop), conferences (e.g., Congress of the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations 2024), and public health campaigns like the Stroke Recurrence Awareness Campaign. Received the 2023 School Research Grant for Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacy Education.
Grants & Collaborations: Collaborates with researchers across disciplines on projects like boosting medication management in the Indo-Pacific. Grant-funded work includes the 2023 project with San, S.P. on clinical pharmacy education.
