Lee Jagodzinski serves as a Lecturer and Academic Lead for Simulation at the University of Greenwich within the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences. Since 2014, he has held multiple concurrent roles including Personal Tutor, Course Designer/Leader for core nursing modules (NURS1429, 1439, 1538, 1539, 1540, 1541, 1475), and Basic Life Support Instructor, with primary affiliation in the School of Health Sciences.
His research program centers on healthcare simulation, with specialized expertise in psychological safety mechanisms, muscle memory development, and pre-post debriefing methodologies—topics directly explored in his doctoral studies. Clinically, he focuses on acute care management for pediatric emergencies and neonatal special/intensive care, delivering cross-disciplinary training to midwifery, paramedic, SCPHN, and nursing students across undergraduate and CPD levels.
In his leadership capacity, Lee directed the £5 million redevelopment of clinical simulation facilities across three university campuses, establishing immersive in-patient ward simulations, virtual/augmented reality teaching environments, and specialized part-task trainers. He currently designs a three-year interprofessional curriculum to address pandemic-related placement restrictions for paramedic, nursing, and midwifery programs while forging industry partnerships to enhance simulation capabilities.
As an educator, he leads foundational modules in Healthcare Simulation Management and Simulation-Based Education in Healthcare, serves as Personal Tutor providing academic guidance, and delivers mandatory Breakaway and BLS training. His work integrates frontline clinical experience from pediatric emergency and neonatal intensive care settings into academic practice.
