Dr Lee Hulbert-Williams is an Associate Professor in Applied Psychology and Chartered Coaching Psychologist at the Department of Psychology. His research focuses on psychometric measures, interventions for psychological well-being, and third-wave psychological constructs like mindfulness and acceptance. He joined the department in 2024 after roles at the University of Chester, University of Wolverhampton, and Bangor University.

Research Interests: Developing psychometric tools such as the Bangor Life Events Schedule for Intellectual Disabilities and exploring interventions targeting well-being through authentic living and values-based coaching. Current work examines suicide risk predictors and self-help interventions.

Teaching includes research methods, clinical psychology, and a new module on psychological well-being combining coaching, counseling, and clinical approaches.
