Dr. Anna Bussu is a Senior Lecturer in Criminal Justice at Edge Hill University (EHU) since 2016, holding roles including Programme Leader for BSc Psychosocial Analysis of Offending Behaviour (2020–2024). She is a Chartered Psychologist (Division of Forensic Psychology) and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her expertise spans forensic psychology, crime prevention, and restorative practices. She has led international research projects, including collaborations with organizations like Early Music As Education-Liverpool and institutions in Ecuador, Europe, and the USA. She currently serves as Internationalisation Coordinator in EHU’s School of Law, Criminology & Policing and co-directs the Centre for Applied Criminal Justice and Policing Research.

She has secured external funding for initiatives like the Liverpool-based music project and a peer mentoring scheme for early-career academics.
