Lee Harris is an Adjunct Professor in the Practice Court program at Baylor Law School and a Justice of the Tenth Court of Appeals. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Cum Laude) from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School (1993). Prior to his judicial career, he served as District Attorney Pro Tem of Hill County, Texas, prosecuting approximately 600 felony cases, and was a litigation partner at Moore & Harris.
His judicial experience includes serving as the first judge of the County Court at Law of Hill County (2005-2014) and Judge of the 66th Judicial District Court of Hill County (2015-2024). He was appointed to the Tenth Court of Appeals by Governor Greg Abbott in January 2025.
Justice Harris is known for his no-nonsense approach to judicial problem-solving and courtroom management. He serves as a deacon at Peoria Baptist Church and is on the Board of Directors of Amigos Internacionales, supporting disaster relief, hunger prevention, safe drinking water initiatives, and child protection programs globally.
