Lee Bolton

Lee Bolton serves as a Senior Lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University within the School of Allied & Public Health Professions and the Department of Allied Health Professions and Dental Practice/SIM. He teaches Diagnostic Radiography with extensive clinical background as an NHS Radiographer specializing in CT, Nuclear Medicine, and Neurological Radiography across five hospitals in two trusts.

His research focuses on practical healthcare education domains including Diagnostic Radiography techniques, Medical Imaging sub-specialties, and educational innovations. Key interests encompass Student Employability in health professions, Virtual Exchange methodologies for academic courses, and clinical applications in Self-harm contexts within healthcare settings. Though research isn't his primary focus, his work bridges clinical practice with pedagogical development.

Mr Bolton has held significant leadership roles including dual appointments as Professional Lead for Radiography and Course Director for the Undergraduate programme. He actively contributes to university governance through learning & teaching committees and curriculum quality panels, having chaired Extenuating Circumstances panels for eight consecutive years. His teaching portfolio includes the Clinical Reporting PgCert and Diagnostic Radiography BSc programmes.
