Dr. Lee-Anne Oros serves as Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership and Director for the Building-Level Curriculum & Instruction Program within the Department of Educational Leadership at Arkansas State University's College of Education & Behavioral Science.
Her research focuses on the intersection of educational leadership, adolescent development, and family dynamics, with particular emphasis on how parental communication, religious practices, and involvement shape teen sexual behaviors and attitudes. This work bridges educational policy with community health outcomes, examining how school-family partnerships can address adolescent risk behaviors through culturally responsive frameworks.
Her notable 2012 publication analyzes the complex relationships between parental engagement, faith traditions, and adolescent sexual decision-making, highlighting how these factors collectively influence youth attitudes. This research demonstrates methodological rigor in examining sensitive behavioral topics while maintaining cultural sensitivity to religious contexts.
