Lee Am Scott

Dr. Lee Am Scott is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at Quinnipiac University. She has over 22 years of diverse nursing experience spanning emergency care, ICU, informatics, and healthcare administration. A certified informatics nurse with 16 years of specialty practice, she earned her BS from the College of the Virgin Islands, an MSN in Forensic Nursing (2006), and a DNP in Nursing Leadership (2021) from Quinnipiac University.

Research Interests: Her expertise focuses on healthcare informatics, patient care optimization, clinical leadership strategies, administrative systems, and quality improvement methodologies. These interests align with her professional roles in nursing informatics and healthcare management.

Teaching & Mentorship: With 10+ years as a clinical instructor, she mentors LPN, ASN, and BSN students. Current courses include NUR 302 (Nursing Science/Information Literacy), NUR 440L (Holistic Nursing), NUR 538 (Data Application), and NUR 544 (Informatics Fundamentals). She concurrently serves as Nursing Supervisor at Apple Healthcare since 2019.
